RO-90 – Sanitize your system
RO-90 – System Disinfection Process
For maximum disinfection, it is preferable to carry out the process simultaneously with the replacement of filters, optimally all five units. Method: Drain the system and reservoir fluids. Seal all valves (points X and Z depicted in figure 1). Remove the first three pre-filters and the membrane, leaving the fifth stage finishing filter in place. Add 2 to 4 ounces of hydrogen peroxide or regular household chlorine bleach to the initial chamber. Reopen all valves. Then, fill and empty the reservoirs twice with water. Replace all filters, the membrane, and rejuvenate the fifth stage filter. The disinfection process is now complete!
